What happens when we begin before we feel ready?
The Hundred invites you to see the mess before success and witness growth in motion. See hesitation turn into confidence, practice turn into skill and small, consistent effort turn into visible transformation.
Come along and experience a visual timeline of skill development & creative resilience. A living demonstration of what happens when someone shows up imperfectly, consistently, bravely and keeps going.
The Hundred features 100 watercolour portraits created over 100 consecutive days as a reminder that progress is built, not bestowed.
Born in response to grief, Ali sought community through an online art challenge: one portrait a day for 100 days. No formal visual arts training and no promise of success. What unfolded was something far greater than a creative experiment.
The Hundred invites you to see what happens when we begin before we feel ready.
CREATIVE HABITS WORKSHOP
This workshop offers you an opportunity to start. Together with Ali, follow your own ideas and interests and build a daily creative habit for yourself. Ideal for people who catch themselves saying ‘I wish I was more creative” but often feel that the arts aren’t for them.
PERMISSION TO PLAY WORKSHOP
You’re invited to a casual, low risk gathering to explore your own response to The Hundred Installation. Ideal for creatives who want to respond to the work collaboratively. Calling writers, musicians, actors, improvisors, visual artists and more to come and create something together. No outcome. No audience. No pressure.
