Tramdemic: The Musical is the comedic story of wide-eyed naïve journalist Sydney (from Canberra) – with subconscious aspirations of becoming an actress – investigating a strange connection between Canberra’s light rail and the 2020 Covid pandemic, while her tram-hating train-loyalist absentee Father Paddy-O (Melbourne) escapes the Victorian lock-down curfew in an attempt to make amends in the ACT.
A unique homegrown comedy that blends light rail, COVID-19, and conspiracy culture into a hilarious, satirical stage musical – exploring how civic identity, misinformation, and public transport collide. Be part of the pilot audience for the workshop showing of this hilarious musical from some of our region’s brightest minds!
