You know the story of a certain-boy-wizard at a certain Wizard School… but have you heard the story of the Puffs? They just happened to be there too! A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world, Puffs is an inventive must see for certain-boy-wizard fans!

Puffs is the story of Wayne Hopkins: a regular boy who finds out he’s a wizard and goes to school in England where he makes two best friends and has adventures. This perhaps sounds familiar. But, Wayne is sorted as a Puff, he and the other Puffs simply want to learn how to be wizards and avoid attacks by evil wizards.

This clever and inventive play “never goes more than a minute without a laugh” (Nerdist) giving you a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of three potential heroes just trying to make it through a magic school that proves to be very dangerous for children. Alongside them are the Puffs, a group of well-meaning, loyal outsiders with a thing for badgers “who are so lovable and relatable, you’ll leave the theatre wishing they were in the stories all along” (Hollywood Life). Their “hilariously heartfelt!” (Metro) and epic journey takes the classic story to new places and re-imagines what a boy wizard hero can be.

Puffs is not authorised, sanctioned, licensed or endorsed by J.K Rowling, Warner Bros. or any person or company associated with the Harry Potter books, films or play.

Fun for the whole family! The show has been lightly transfigured so that young wizards ages 8 and up can share in the magic of Puffs, and parents can relax knowing their kids won’t learn any new curses.

Through 90-minutes of jam-packed prepubescent self-discovery, we learn the Puffs want much more than merely “third place.”
