Join us for the 10th edition of Music by the River – CSO’s tribute to Queen, where rock meet classical in an unforgettable performance.
Music by the River 2026 is proudly presented by Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council and Icon Water, and back for the tenth year. Join us for a night to remember dedicated to Queen’s greatest hits featuring the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, conducted by George Ellis with Kirrah Amosa and other special guest performers.
Held in Queen Elizabeth II Park on the banks of the Queanbeyan River, this is an event that promises to be a celebration fit for music royalty.
Gates open at 4pm to the tunes of Phoenix 5, with CSO hitting the stage at 7pm. Local food and beverages are available for purchase or bring your own picnic.
Make it an anniversary to remember and get ready to rock… and as Freddie would say, “Dress to kill, but tastefully!”
