Join us for the HOME in Queanbeyan Movie Night, an annual fundraiser supporting a unique not-for-profit initiative in our community. This year, we’re featuring the funny, poignant, and well-cast film Hunt for the Wilderpeople alongside the premiere of the latest HOME short video. It’s a perfect opportunity to meet others in your community, learn more about HOME and show your support. HOME is community owned and funded. By attending this event, you’re not just enjoying a movie night; you’re actively helping to create positive outcomes for people living with an enduring mental illness.
Your ticket includes drinks, food, and the movie. Come along from 6pm and enjoy a relaxing evening. Hunt for the Wilderpeople tells the story of misfit kid Ricky Baker. When Ricky’s foster aunt suddenly passes away, he’s left alone with his grumpy uncle Hec. The unlikely duo find themselves on the run in the vast New Zealand bush, evading child services and the law.
