After a sold out show in 2023, The Blamey Street Big Band with Leisa Keen is bringing its incredible Big Band Beatles show to The B!

It’s no secret that The Beatles sound adapts perfectly to interpretation by the classic big band – saxophones, trumpets, trombones and rhythm section. Alongside well-loved arrangements such as Michael Buble’s ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’, and Count Basie’s ‘Eleanor Rigby’ and “Michelle’, master arranger and principal saxophone player with Blamey Street, Andrew Hackwill, has created fabulous swinging arrangements of treasured tunes including ‘Penny Lane’, ‘She Loves You’, ‘Here Comes The Sun’, ‘Octopus’ Garden’, ‘Something’, “A Hard Day’s Night’, ‘With a Little Help from my Friends’, ‘Yesterday’, and many more.

With Canberra’s leading jazz vocalist, Leisa Keen, adding her special magic to Andrew’s arrangements of tunes from all the studio albums, some of the singles, and even the latest single, ‘Now and Then’ this will be a night of music that no Beatles fan should miss.
