Jekyll & Hyde
A Slightly Isolated Dog Production
18 – 23 May 2021
Unleash your inner monster. You’ll laugh until it hurts.
This bonkers rendition of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novel, Jekyll & Hyde, is retold by a team of hilariously charming ‘French’ performers with the help of the audience. They tell a terrifying tale which is at the same time delightful, thrilling, shockingly good comedy that makes you laugh until it hurts. A guaranteed night of laughs in the company of some of the sassiest performers in town.
This is no traditional telling of Jekyll & Hyde, but instead a fast-paced, laugh-a-minute, interactive storytelling that serves up comedy and frivolity on a platter. The company comes complete with exaggerated accents and all the typical stereotypical traits of the French: fashionable, self-assured and emotive. Gather up your friends, lovers, and distant cousins, and prepare to unleash your inner monster!
A Slightly Isolated Dog has built a reputation for shaking up well-known stories, and injecting their trademark outrageous physical comedy and twisted pop songs to the telling. Focused on removing the barriers between audiences and performers and revelling in the silliness of their stories, these fast, furious and irreverently saucy performances are Theatre with the Lights On.
