MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival at The Q
Once again, film lovers can unite with an audience of over 100,000 people across 500 cities and six continents as the MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival returns to The Q!
MANHATTAN SHORT is more than just one of the largest short film festivals in the world today, it is the world’s first and only global film festival.
Ten short films selected from over a thousand entries around the world will screen in venues across six continents during one week. The final films represent the best short films from over 1,000 submissions from around the world, covering an extraordinary range of genres including drama, science fiction, suspense, animation and comedy.
Vote for your Favourite and get them to the Oscars!
Audiences at each venue are handed a voting card and asked to vote for the one film they think is best.
Votes are sent through to MANHATTAN SHORT HQ and the winner is announced the following day.
As a judge, you will be given the opportunity to unite with other audiences across the world to view the festival’s short films and vote for the best.
Every short film selected will automatically qualify for the Oscars in 2023.
MANHATTAN SHORT is a wonderful opportunity to see the next generation of feature filmmakers from around the world.
The Final Ten MANHATTAN SHORT finalists hail from eight countries with films from Scotland, Czechia & Slovakia, Spain, Australia, Finland and Lebanon, alongside two films each from France and USA. These Final Ten Films represent the best short films from among 868 submissions from 70 countries received by MANHATTAN SHORT for 2022, testimony to the enduring vibrancy and creativity of short films worldwide.
