Cali ACT Showcase

Calisthenics is one of the fastest growing artistic year round sports – unique to Australia. Children of all ages thrive on the variety and challenges offered in the many facets of Calisthenics – a combination of controlled exercises and gymnastics, marching, singing, simplified ballet, folk and modern dance.

All items are costumed, choreographed, set to music in preparation for competitions, which are held by local and national organisations and give participants a chance to present their routines to an audience and an adjudicator.

In 2019 ACT will be sending an Intermediate Team (ages 13-17) of 20 participants and soloists in Juniors (ages 10-12), Intermediates and Senior (17+) to the 2019 National Calisthenics Championship Competition in July, hosted by Western Australia.

The Cali ACT Showcase is a concert of the National items by the team and soloists in front of an audience and adjudicator in preparation for July.
